TT-01 Chassis
This is the most basic model whereby alot of TT-01 owners starts off with. This chassis is a very good startoff for beginners into the 1/10 EP R/C world.Drive train of this model have been design as a shafted 4-wheel drive system.Drive power are evenly distributed via the centre shaft to the front and rear gear box.Motor is positioned longitudinally to minimise power lose experienced during driving.Different gear ration can be acheived with the use of different spur and pinion on faster motors to unlease the speed demon in you.Chassis uses a bath tub design to withstand rough terrain and protect your onboard electronics.Battery is place in flat along the chassis for a low and balanced centre of gravity.(A great improvement from the TL-01)The double wishbone suspension arm features stable and reliable cornering when combined with the front and gear diffential.Light kits included in new 'LED light kit' version car kits adds another whole new driving experience to your usage dark and dull night drive.Construction of this kit have been designed for hazardless assembly and maintanence once again making it a good kit for begineers.Application of this kit ranges from touring,drift and even your neighbourhood leisure drive.
TT-01D Chassis
Drift motorsports have become a very popular sport over these pass few years.With movie and animation series that feature this sport.This sport have slowly devoloped to a professional sport that hosts race series world wide.Hence TAMIYA have release the TT-01 Drift spec chassis.The top arms of the double wishbone suspension arms have been replaced with the adjustable upper set for camber setting options.Wherelse the lower arms are replaced with the newly designed TT-01D arms for droop and different shocks postion mounts.Full ball bearings are included instead of bushings to provide a smooth and efficient drive train.The TAMIYA SPORT-TUNED MOTOR are supplied instead of the usual silver can to give a higher torque and speed drive train for drift supppose usage.A motor heatsink is provided to dissipate heat efficiently from all that power slids and throws.The TAMIYA CVA mini oil shocks are inplimented eith short TRF springs to allow different suspension settings to suit different circuit layout.How can the kit be complete without the 26mm TAMIYA type D drift tires!!!This tires are made from specially processed resin and rubber for that long lasting drift action.Light kits included in new 'LED light kit' version car kits adds another whole new driving experience to your usage dark and dull night drive on top of that additional light controls are available when the TLU-2 light unit is used to give you that fierce and attention seeking factor!!!
TT-01R Chassis
Due to the success of the standard TT-01 chassis,the TT-01 RACE spec chassis have been release to suit those serious racers for the competition 'R' factor.This is a great kit for those who are planning to go into serious touring competition like the TAMIYA ASIA CUP stock class event hosted anually.The whole drive trained have been reengineered for high speed drive usage.The centre drive shaft have been replace by the TAMIYA EVO IV propeller shaft for that lighter and efficient drive train movement.The conventional diff cup,dog bones and wheel axles have been replaced with a more precise and durable metal diff cups,swing shafts and wheel axle for that all important weight reduction and durability enhancement in all motorsports aspect.Suspension arms have been replaced with the adjustable upper arms and Drift spec lower arms for the different camper and shocks position settings.The rear upright now have a option of the usual 0 degree or the 2 degree toe-in option.CVA mini shocks have been use in this case for better suspension performance and a wider range of options.The option spur gears included allow more gear ratio achivements for different driving styles and layout.This kit does not comes with a bodyshell but all that juiced up parts already made up for it.Build for the serious racer in you!!!
